CMS is preparing to introduce a new version of the Bundled Payment program, which will offer orthopaedic specialists the chance to make more revenue, manage the care episode, and satisfy MACRA compliance requirements.

Keely MacMillan, BPCI General Manager from Archway Heatlh, will cover the key components of BPCI 'Advanced' and provide guidance to physicians and practice administrators on considerations, program design and alternative approaches to participate in the program. 

Of particular interest to attendees, this webinar will feature a case study highlighting the experiences and lessons learned by NYSSOS member, Jordan Simon, MD of Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

Faculty Biographies

Keely MacMillan
Keely joined Archway Health in August, 2017 as the General Manager of the BPCI Initiative. Previously, Keely was the Manager of Government Payment Policy at Partners HealthCare, the largest health system in New England, where she managed public payer financial forecasting and led the government payment policy team in the analysis of performance-based reimbursement models. With over 10 years of healthcare experience, Keely is recognized as an expert in alternative payment models including bundled payments, ACOs, value-based purchasing, and MACRA's Quality Payment Program. Keely earned a Master's of Health Policy & Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science from Yale University. 

Jordan Simon, MD
Jordan A. Simon, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (NEOSM). Dual board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

In addition to his position with NEOSM, Dr. Simon is the Director of the Joint Replacement Center at Nyack Hospital and assistant clinical professor at New York University (NYU) Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases.

Dr. Simon completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Lake Tahoe Orthopedics & Sports Medicine as well as a fellowship in orthopedic research at NYU Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he was honored with the Senior Residents Research Award.

He earned his medical degree at NYU School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He graduated with honors from Cornell University College of Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Dr. Simon is a current member of the New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, past President of the Rockland County Medical Society, and was named Nyack Hospital Physician of the Year in 2014.
